The addition for an existing home in the Hamptons, consists on creating a four layer system that permits a complete visual and physical relation with the heavily wooded site. The four layer system is composed of exterior wire mesh sliding panels, glass sliding doors, polycarnonate translucent panels and interior stackable panels for the clients studio. The sliding stackable panels
allow when in closed position for a wide vertical work surface and dark conditions for wall projections, and in open position room ilumination and a completelly open dwelling towards the exterior. The second floor consists of terrace space completely open in one area and protected with metallic mesh in the other.
